Are You a Lightworker?
As most of you know, I post a spiritual quote on Facebook and Instagram about every day. Once I find the quote, I want to talk about, I then simply put my fingers on the computer keys and listen to what my team of light wants me to share. I do the same thing with my weekly blog minus the quote. This blog and all past blogs are always posted on my website drusillasdream.com and are included in my weekly newsletter that goes out every Monday.
I don’t ever know exactly what I will write about because the information does not come completely from me. In fact, most of what I write actually comes through me from my team of light in cooperation and assistance, of course, from my soul. The process I use to be able to access this information is simple. I enter my inner temple and meditate with the intention of being of service to God, as well as to the love that I am and that we all are. The quote gives me and my team a jumping off point. The blog is not as clear, and I need to listen to what topic is on the agenda for that week.
It is hard to explain how I do what I do. I don’t completely understand it myself. I am in awe of the miraculous way I am willingly utilized, and I am blissfully grateful that my team of light trusts me to participate in, what I consider, a most holy endeavor. As I write each day, I am simply typing what I hear. At times I get a feeling, like butterflies, in my stomach when they want me to pay closer attention to what they are teaching. The reason for that is because, what is coming through is clearly for me so that I can learn, remember, or self-correct in some area of my life. Truthfully, I always feel that everything that comes through is as much for me as it is for all of you who have been guided to find my work.
Being drawn to this work clearly means you are on a path of awakening and are subconsciously or consciously hearing the call from your own soul and team of light. That call, that goes out to all of us, is a plea to join the multitudes of global, peaceful lightworkers so we can work towards completing our mission of helping to move humanity from divisive fear to unified love. Though you may have forgotten, you and I are determined to do our part in whatever way we can, even if we don’t yet know what that “way” is yet. When we say “Yes, I am ready to serve,” to God and our team of light, they do a happy dance and songs of gratitude are sung throughout the spirit world. Yet, we must communicate our willingness because they must always honor our free will and will not intercede in our lives unless given permission to do so.
Some of you may be thinking, “I’m not ready. This is all new to me and I’m just beginning my spiritual journey. That, my friends, is an illusion. You’ve always been ready, you just forgot that you were. The amnesia that falls upon most of us when we emerge from our mother’s womb is there for a reason. One of the main reasons is, that we are all being offered a chance to begin anew and do better during this lifetime than we did in the last one.
The souls who share our earthly experience now most likely have shared other ones as well. As a consequence of the human mistakes that we may have made in one or more past lives, we are all trying to do a better job of being the loving eternal soul here, that we know we are when in spirit. If we retained the memories from past lives, we might make some choices now out of human emotions like guilt, shame, regret, self-deprecation, or self-loathing, rather than from love, compassion, forgiveness, and peace. The latter are soul qualities, and those are the ones that each of us are called to embrace and foster during our time here. The only way to do that is to begin to silence our fearful ego so that we can hear the voice of our soul and our spirit team.
So, if we feel we are just beginning on our spiritual path, we surely wonder, how can we be ready to take our place with the lightworkers of the world? The answer is simple. You are not just beginning! You have been part of that team for many lifetimes, ,most likely hundreds of thousands of them. The answers we all want to know to the questions, “Why am I here? What is my greatest life purpose? What contribution could I alone possibly make to help this crazy messed up world, and how can I leave this world better than when I arrived?” can be answered with one word, remembrance! The memories reside with our soul, and we can truly access them.
We all came here with noble intentions and a fierce determination to “get it right this time.” Yet, being human as well as spirit makes remembering what we vowed to accomplish here difficult. The ego screams deafeningly, and our soul and team of light whisper softly to us. In between gasps from our mind’s unending senseless chatter, lies the voice of Spirit. God speaks to us in the gap between our thoughts and in the silence and stillness we find in the temple of our soul’s light.
You may be thinking, “I have a fulltime job, kids, a spouse, a house to take care of, responsibilities to aging parents, not to mention a desire to have some down time and some fun. We’re senior citizens ourselves and think we’re too old and tired to embark on such and monumental endeavor. How will we find time or the energy to join this team without disrupting our entire lives?” Things we do every day of our lives that seem insignificant and hardly spiritual, are important. It’s the awareness that we bring to those things is Spirit’s way of working through us.
Here’s an example. Our co-worker is being difficult and obnoxious. We have a choice. Do we justifiably but mindlessly , react become angry and unleash our own frustration, criticism, and judgement, which only adds to negative environment, or do we pause and respond mindfully. We can take a moment and think, “I wonder if something is bothering this person. They don’t usually act this way. We can consider that, if they were in touch with their divine self at the moment, they could not behave in such a way. We can perhaps, pull them aside and ask, “Are you ok? You don’t seem like yourself? Do you want to talk?”
The point here is, we kept our heart and soul in charge of our mind and our snarky ego. We stayed aware of our thoughts and didn’t allow our emotions to dictate our actions. We put love first. We acted with the wisdom, compassion, and light of our soul, rather than the anger, judgement, and fear of our ego-mind. That is what it’s all about. That is what the job of a lightworker is. We, our infinite souls, are the awareness and consciousness that is aware of what is happening in the life of our human counterpart. When we choose love to direct our choices, we are accomplishing our mission. No one has to know what motivates our choices, but people are inspired, influenced, and positively changed through love, kindness, and acceptance, not by judgement, ostracization, and opposition.
Let us join the team and be the light in the darkness and the very love and peace we wish to see in the world. We are powerful lightworkers and together we can change the world from fear to love.
